Our youngest daughter and middle child, Clara-Li, is a Hengdong SWI alumnus.
Our oldest daughter was found as a newborn by authorities in the small city of Gao'an in Jiangxi Province. She had been left in a small cardboard box at the entrance to a popular marketplace. Gao'an is located about 75 miles southwest of Nanchang, Jiangxi's capital.
Our son and youngest child was found next to a dumpster at a crossroad in Jingchuan, Gansu Province. He had been born with a severe bilateral cleft lip and palate.
But we're a pretty typical family otherwise, although we would probably register unusually high on a general happiness scale.
